What is ClearMeet, as a Cluely alternative?
ClearMeet is a real-time AI meeting assistant for Windows, for your own work meetings. Like Cluely, it listens through your computer with no bot and shows short answers during the call. It also writes the transcript, notes and action items, and it stays out of most screen shares on every plan. Free for 5 meetings a month; Pro is $20.
How are ClearMeet and Cluely alike?
Both run on your computer, never join the meeting as a bot, and answer questions while the call is still going. Both work with Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Webex and Slack.
In ClearMeet you click Answer latest and a few short lines appear, usually starting in about 1.6 s. Cluely says it gives real-time answers when you press Ctrl + Enter.

Where they really differ: what each is for
ClearMeet is made to help you in meetings where help is fine. Our rules forbid using it to cheat, and the app reminds you to tell people when you record.
Cluely calls itself undetectable, and its own manifesto says “We want to cheat on everything.” We take the opposite view. ClearMeet's acceptable-use rules forbid using it in an exam, a test or an interview where outside help isn't allowed, and we may lock accounts that do.
- When a meeting starts recording, ClearMeet reminds you to tell the other people in the call.
- Each answer ends with a small reminder that AI can be wrong.
- Hiding from screen shares is there so your notes stay private while you present, not to hide help from anyone.
If you want a tool for hidden help where it isn't allowed, ClearMeet isn't it.
When is Cluely the better choice?
When you're on a Mac, since ClearMeet is Windows only. Otherwise, compare the free plans on your own calls: both let you try live answers without paying.

How to switch from Cluely to ClearMeet
Install ClearMeet, add your files, and press Start in your next call. Nothing connects to your meeting app or calendar.
- Download ClearMeet for Windows and sign in with Google, Microsoft or your email.
- In Notes, say what the meeting is about and add your price list, product sheet or slides.
- In your call, press Start. When you're asked something, click Answer latest.
- Cancel Cluely from its own account page if you no longer need it.
ClearMeet writes down English speech only, for now.

Cluely has a free Starter plan with limited AI responses and limited meeting notes. Pro is $19.99 a month, and the plan that hides it from screen sharing, Pro + Undetectability, is $149.99 a month, according to Cluely's pricing page.
Is ClearMeet undetectable?
No, and it isn't meant to be. No bot joins your call and it stays out of most screen shares, so your notes stay private while you present. Anyone looking at your screen can see it, and our rules forbid hidden help where it isn't allowed.
Can I use ClearMeet in a job interview?
In interviews you run, yes: it keeps your questions on track and notes every answer. Not as the candidate where outside help isn't allowed; our acceptable-use rules forbid it, and the same goes for exams and tests.
Does ClearMeet work on a Mac?
No. ClearMeet is for Windows 10 and 11 only. Cluely lists apps for macOS and Windows 11.
