How we keep ClearMeet and your meetings safe, in plain words.

What we do

• HTTPS everywhere. The app, this website and your account page talk to our servers only over encrypted connections.
• Your meetings are encrypted on our server. The meetings, notes and chats the app keeps in your account are stored encrypted.
• Recordings and sound stay on your PC. The sound of your meetings is turned into text on your computer, and videos never leave the computer that recorded them.
• Backups. A backup is made every night and kept for 7 days. The meeting content in it stays encrypted.
• Your sign-in. An account can be signed in on two computers at a time, and you can sign any of them out from your account page. If you sign in with a password, we keep only a one-way scrambled form of it.

Please tell us at security@clearmakes.com. We reply within 3 working days. Please give us time to fix it before telling anyone else, and don't look at or change other people's data while testing.
