Terms

Last updated September 28, 2026

These terms are between you and ClearMakes, who make ClearMeet. By using ClearMeet you agree to them. Questions: contact@clearmakes.com.

Using ClearMeet

  • You must be 16 or older.
  • Our Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms.
  • Follow the law where you are, including the rules on recording people: tell people when you record.
  • Follow your workplace's rules, and don't use ClearMeet to cheat in an exam, a test or an interview where outside help isn't allowed.
  • Don't try to break, copy or overload ClearMeet or its servers, or share your account.

Answers can be wrong

ClearMeet's answers and notes are written by an AI model. They're usually right and sometimes wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it. What you say in a meeting is up to you.

Your account

Your account is for you. It can be signed in on two computers at a time. Keep your sign-in safe; if you think someone else is using it, tell us.

Plans and payment

  • Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
  • The Free plan is free. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase of a paid plan.
  • Paid plans renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. You can cancel any time; you keep your plan until the end of the time you paid for.
  • Switching plans takes effect straight away; you pay only the difference for the rest of the period.
  • Refunds: if ClearMeet isn't right for you, write to us within 14 days of a payment and we'll refund it (see Refunds).
  • Each plan is for one person's own meetings (Team: for each person on it). If use looks automated or shared, we'll get in touch before changing anything.

Plan limits

  • Each plan includes the meetings or meeting hours a month, the longest meeting, and the largest files and videos shown on the pricing page.
  • When a month's meetings or hours are used up, a new meeting can't start until the next month or an upgrade. A meeting that is already running is never cut off for this.
  • A meeting can last as long as your plan's longest meeting. ClearMeet tells you 10 minutes before, then stops and saves the meeting.
  • A file or video over your plan's size or length isn't added; ClearMeet tells you its size and your plan's limit.
  • On Plus and Team, answers go first when ClearMeet is busy.
  • Team is paid per seat, with 3 seats or more. The team shares its meeting hours: 40 hours a month for each seat. The admin can add or remove people and change the number of seats; a change in seats is charged or credited for the rest of the billing period.

When a paid plan ends

If you cancel, or a payment still fails after Paddle's retries, your account moves to the Free plan at the end of the time you paid for. While Paddle is retrying a payment, your plan keeps working. Nothing is deleted: every meeting, note and file stays in your account. The app shows the last 30 days of meetings on Free, and Free's limits apply to anything new. Upgrade any time to have everything again. When a Team plan ends, everyone on the team goes back to their own plan in the same way, and each person's meetings and notes stay in their own account.

Changes and ending

ClearMeet will keep changing and improving. We may change these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it applies. You can stop using ClearMeet any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why.

Limits

ClearMeet is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses that come from using it, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
